Matthew Dellavedova holds a clear ranking edge at No. 311 with a career-high near 307, compared to Shunsuke Mitsui’s position around No. 517-648, giving the Australian consistent advantages in recent ITF M25 events on hard courts. Dellavedova’s stronger recent results and higher prize money reflect steadier progression at this level, while Mitsui’s college background at Tennessee and ITF wins provide baseline experience but less consistent ATP-level momentum. Their prior head-to-head on outdoor hard favors competitive sets, though surface speed in Taipei and any late-week fatigue from the draw could influence serving and return efficiency. Traders weigh Dellavedova’s form and ranking as primary drivers of current implied probabilities in this matchup.
