This market will resolve to the coach who wins the 2026 MLS Coach of the Year award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus favors Javier Mascherano at 39.9% implied probability for MLS Coach of the Year, propelled by his 2025 MLS Cup triumph with Inter Miami—the club's first title—and expectations for their star-studded roster despite a 3-1-3 start through seven matches. His shocking resignation Tuesday for personal reasons, with interim Guillermo Hoyos taking over, injects volatility but hasn't eroded his lead yet. A tight cluster around 29.5% reflects early dominance by B.J. Callaghan's Nashville SC (16 points, Eastern Conference leaders), Gregg Berhalter's revitalized Chicago Fire (second in East), and Jesper Sørensen's Vancouver Whitecaps (18 points, Western Conference frontrunners), highlighting new hires and hot starts in the race for regular-season turnaround narratives.
