This market will resolve to “Yes” if the NBA rules in favor of the Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge submitted by Luka Doncic and his representatives, allowing Luka Doncic to be eligible for end of season awards. Otherwise, this market will resolve “No”. If no ruling in this case is delivered by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET or the challenge is not submitted within the NBA’s required window, this market will resolve to “50-50”. The resolution source will be official information from the NBA; however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Luka Dončić's agent announced yesterday intentions to file an Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge to the NBA's 65-game eligibility threshold for end-of-season awards like MVP, after a confirmed Grade 2 hamstring strain sidelined him for the regular season's final games following 64 appearances. This recent injury report, combined with prior absences for his child's birth, underpins trader consensus pricing Yes at 83.5% implied probability, as Dončić's MVP-level production—dominating scoring, rebounding, and assists—positions him as awards frontrunner absent the rule. The league's provision for such medical and personal hardships, with no conflicting precedents, drives optimism for approval amid playoff implications and roster health focus.
