If the 2026 Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament is cancelled, postponed after April 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET or the 2026 Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament Elite Eight matchups have not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Elite Eight field in the 2026 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is set following a dramatic Sweet 16 over the past 48 hours, featuring top seeds No. 1 Duke, Michigan, and Arizona alongside No. 2 UConn, No. 2 Purdue, No. 3 Illinois, Cinderella No. 9 Iowa, and No. 6 Tennessee. Key recent results include Duke's narrow 80-75 escape over St. John's, Michigan's 90-77 rout of Alabama, Arizona's 109-88 demolition of Arkansas, Purdue's 79-77 thriller against Texas, and Tennessee's 76-62 upset of No. 2 Iowa State. Traders weigh momentum from these advances, Big Ten rivalries in Illinois-Iowa and Arizona-Purdue (Saturday Elite Eight games), plus Sunday's Michigan-Tennessee and UConn-Duke clashes on neutral sites, with no major injury reports altering rosters. Historical Final Four paths favor high seeds, but upsets like Iowa's run highlight upset potential in March Madness.
