Massimiliano Allegri holds overwhelming trader consensus at 90.8% implied probability to become Napoli’s next manager, reflecting his swift emergence as the leading candidate following Antonio Conte’s mutual-consent departure after the 2025-26 season. Allegri’s own sacking from AC Milan in late May accelerated talks with president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who viewed the experienced Italian tactician—fresh from a prior Juventus stint—as the ideal fit to stabilize the squad and target Champions League qualification. Recent reports confirm a verbal agreement on a two-year deal at the Stadio Maradona, leaving minimal room for alternatives such as Filipe Luis or Xavi Hernandez. Only an unforeseen breakdown in final negotiations or a late external offer could realistically shift the outcome before an official announcement.
