This market will resolve in favor of “John/Paige” if the team of Big John and Paige Spiranac wins more holes than the team of JR Smith and Claire Hogle in the 2026 Polymarket Classic. Otherwise, this market will resolve in favor of “JR/Claire”. This match will be played as an 18-hole scramble between teams. No handicap strokes will be awarded to either player. Both teams begin even at 0-0. Best ball position will be played by each team. The team that wins each hole earns 1 point. The team who wins the most holes over 18 holes wins the match. In the event of a tie after 18 holes, a sudden-death scramble will be played until there is a winner. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the 2026 Polymarket Classic is cancelled, postponed after August 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if it cannot be determined which team won within that timeframe, this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source will be the official stream from the official channels of the named participants.Paige Spiranac’s established golfing ability and prior success in creator events anchor trader consensus around the John/Paige pairing at 77.5% implied probability in the 2v2 scramble. Spiranac brings consistent ball-striking, short-game precision, and match-play experience that outpaces JR Smith’s athletic background and Claire Hogle’s social-media golf profile. The scramble format amplifies the stronger duo’s advantage by allowing each team to play its best ball, magnifying skill gaps over 18 holes. Recent promotional coverage and live-stream buzz have reinforced perceptions of a mismatch without notable injury or form shifts altering the setup ahead of the Tampa event. Market pricing reflects this competitive disparity while leaving modest room for variance typical in exhibition play.
