The navigation procedure as of market creation involves going to trends.withgoogle.com/year-in-search/ and clicking through Global → Trending → TV Shows. The 2026 page is expected to appear using the same navigation once released (as the 2025 page currently shows the specified ranking). This market will resolve based on the specified list regardless of navigation procedure. This market may resolve as soon as the specified list for 2026 is released. If Google does not release the specified list by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No." The resolution source for this market will be the specified list as published by Google.Stranger Things’ final season has driven much of the early 2026 search momentum through record Nielsen minutes viewed exceeding 23 billion in the first half alone, alongside sustained cultural conversation around its staggered rollout. Euphoria Season 3’s April premiere with a five-year time jump and Zendaya’s return sparked renewed Gen Z engagement and social spikes, while The Pitt maintained strong weekly viewership and His & Hers delivered Netflix’s biggest early-year title performance with over 100 million views. Competitive pressure comes from returning prestige entries like Bridgerton, The Boys, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, plus fall premieres such as The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 5 and new series like Crew Girl that could generate late-year surges. Google’s official Year in Search list will aggregate global spikes across these titles.
