This market will resolve to "Yes" if the total number of maps that go to overtime across all official matches of VALORANT Champions 2026 (also known as VCT Champions 2026), currently scheduled for September 24 to October 18, 2026, in Shanghai, China is greater than or equal to the number specified in the market title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A map goes to overtime if the score reaches 12-12 and the map is decided in overtime rounds (i.e., the winning team's final score is 14 or more). Each such map counts once, regardless of how many overtime rounds are played. Every completed map in every official match of the tournament (Group Stage and Playoffs) counts. If VALORANT Champions 2026 is canceled or postponed such that it has not concluded by November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve according to the number of overtime maps completed as of that time. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official match results and per-map statistics on vlr.gg (https://www.vlr.gg/event/2766/valorant-champions-2026). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.VALORANT Champions 2026 features a 16-team field split across four regions, with group stage double-elimination best-of-three series beginning September 24 in Shanghai and playoffs extending through October 18 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Matches reach overtime only when individual maps hit 12-12, requiring a two-round advantage, which depends on map pool balance, agent meta stability, and the parity among qualified rosters including Paper Rex, G2 Esports, NRG, TYLOO, and Nongshim RedForce. No prior VCT events this season have produced outlier overtime rates, and the double-elim format plus best-of-five grand final increase total maps played, raising the likelihood of extended rounds in high-stakes later stages. Trader consensus reflects expectations around average close-map frequency observed in recent international LANs rather than any confirmed roster or patch shifts.
