This market will resolve to "Yes" if Valve removes the listed map from the official map pool by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, and the removal lasts continuously for at least 48 hours. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Temporary or testing removals reversed within 48 hours do not count. The "official map pool" refers to the Active Duty map group in CS2, used for competitive matchmaking (Premier mode) and professional tournaments. For the purpose of this market, “Valve” refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of the Counter-Strike series. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus in the CS2 market leans toward Inferno removal at 41% implied probability, followed by Nuke at 28%, driven by Valve's pattern of rotating one map from the seven-map active duty pool—currently Dust II, Mirage, Anubis, Overpass, Ancient, Inferno, and Nuke—at the start of each Premier season. The pool has remained unchanged since January 22, 2026, when Anubis returned and Train was excised for Season 4, prompting speculation for a mid-year refresh ahead of Season 5 amid pro pick/ban trends favoring variety and datamined hints of Cache's potential return. No official announcements have emerged in the past 72 days, but community feedback on stale metas and FACEIT's separate eighth-map vote (Cache, Vertigo, Train starting April 22) underscores demand for updates influencing sentiment.
