This market will resolve to "Yes" if Valve removes the listed map from the official map pool by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, and the removal lasts continuously for at least 48 hours. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Temporary or testing removals reversed within 48 hours do not count. The "official map pool" refers to the Active Duty map group in CS2, used for competitive matchmaking (Premier mode) and professional tournaments. For the purpose of this market, “Valve” refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of the Counter-Strike series. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Valve has made no official announcements on map pool changes for CS2's active duty rotation ahead of the June 30 deadline, leaving trader consensus driven by pro scene pick/ban data and community speculation rather than concrete news. The current pool—Mirage, Inferno, Nuke, Vertigo, Ancient, and Anubis—has remained stable since Anubis' permanent addition in March, with recent patches prioritizing weapon tweaks, bug fixes, and Premier mode improvements over rotations. Vertigo and Nuke show lower pick rates in recent tier-1 tournaments like IEM Dallas, fueling bets on their removal to refresh the meta for the Shanghai Major qualifiers starting July. Absent Valve's typical mid-year adjustments tied to Major cycles, odds reflect historical patterns where under-picked maps like Dust2 were culled previously.
