Talia Gibson's recent surge on hard courts anchors her 56.5% implied probability as the slight favorite against Sara Bejlek in this Miami Open first-round matchup. The Australian, ranked No. 182, enters with four straight wins across her last two ITF events, showcasing improved serve hold percentages above 80% and aggressive baseline play suited to the Crandon Park surface. Bejlek, No. 108, counters with steadier experience but faltering form, dropping three of her past five hard-court outings amid serve inconsistencies. No reported injuries for either, and their first head-to-head leaves odds reflecting trader consensus on Gibson's momentum edge over Bejlek's ranking alone, though upsets remain common in early rounds.
