Linda Fruhvirtova holds a slight edge in trader consensus for her Miami Open qualifier against Madison Brengle, with implied probabilities around 55-60% reflecting her higher ranking (No. 118 vs. Brengle's No. 164) and sharper recent hard-court form. The 17-year-old Czech cruised through her first-round qualifier in straight sets on Thursday, leveraging aggressive baseline play suited to Miami's fast conditions, while the American veteran has dropped six of her last eight matches amid a form slump. No prior head-to-head exists, but Brengle's qualifier experience offers upset potential if Fruhvirtova's inexperience surfaces under pressure. Clear weather and no reported injuries shape a straightforward matchup Friday.
