Travaglia, the 34-year-old Italian veteran at No. 142, counters with superior 2026 clay form (83% win rate per ITF stats), home-crowd support at Monza, and baseline grinding suited to the red clay surface, offsetting their lack of head-to-head history. Both arrive off early Bucharest losses last week with no reported injuries; odds could shift on pre-match fitness updates, Gaubas' serve effectiveness, or Travaglia's return pressure under mild April weather.
