Filip Drab and Dominik Guzmicky, both young Slovak players, meet in the ITF M15 Pecs with Guzmicky holding the recent edge after defeating Drab 6-2, 4-6, 10-5 in a three-set encounter on August 17. Drab, an 18-year-old with ATP ranking near 2000, has shown inconsistent form on clay this season, advancing through qualifiers in events like M15 Wels while dropping sets to stronger opponents in main draws. Guzmicky has secured wins in junior and lower-level ITF matches, capitalizing on tiebreak experience and baseline consistency. The surface at Pecs favors clay specialists, and neither player carries major injury concerns entering the match. Trader consensus reflects Guzmicky’s momentum from their prior clash alongside Drab’s deeper recent match volume.
