Seo Yun Choi, an 18-year-old South Korean ranked around 1127 with a 13-11 record in 2026 and strong recent form (seven wins in her last 10 matches), faces Yu Shan of China in an ITF Women’s hard-court event in Luan. Shan, 26 and ranked much lower, carries a 0-10 singles mark this season after early exits in prior W15 events. Both players compete regularly at this developmental level on hard courts, where Choi’s youth, recent consistency, and slightly higher ranking position her as the clearer favorite in trader consensus. Head-to-head history is limited, and typical ITF factors like draw position, fatigue from a packed schedule, and any last-minute withdrawals could still influence the outcome in this closely contested lower-tier match.
