The pitching matchup pits Cincinnati's Andrew Abbott (0-1, 3.09 ERA) against Miami's ace Sandy Alcantara (2-0, 0.00 ERA) at hitter-friendly loanDepot park, where the Marlins lead MLB with a .284 batting average and 5.25 runs per game through early 2026 action. Reds carry momentum from yesterday's 2-0 shutout victory over Miami, powered by Elly De La Cruz's multi-hit game, Tyler Stephenson's homer, and a combined four-pitcher effort, boosting their record to 7-3 and second place in the NL Central. Marlins counter with home-field edge despite outfield injuries to Kyle Stowers (hamstring) and Esteury Ruiz (oblique), while Reds manage without Nick Lodolo (blister) and Hunter Greene (elbow); mild Miami weather poses no delays.
