Miu Hirano enters as the clear trader consensus favorite at 71% implied probability against Fu Yu in this WTT Women's Singles matchup, driven by her superior ITTF world ranking of #36 compared to Fu Yu's #51, along with stronger recent form including a runner-up finish in the WTT Star Contender Chennai main draw final last month despite a 0-4 loss to Satsuki Odo. Hirano boasts a 75% year-to-date win rate, while Fu Yu has suffered early exits, including straight-set defeats to Sreeja Akula in World Cup qualifiers on March 30 and Sabine de Winter at Singapore Smash in February. Their lone head-to-head dates to 2020 Hungarian Open, where Hirano prevailed 4-2, underscoring her stylistic edge in shakehand attacks over Fu Yu's veteran defense, with no reported injuries altering lineups.
