Mattia Bellucci, the No. 3 seed ranked No. 79, holds a clear edge over qualifier Andrea Guerrieri (No. 360) in their second-round ATP Challenger Monza clash on outdoor clay, reflecting trader consensus on Bellucci's superior form and experience. Bellucci gutted out a 7-6(5), 6-4 win over Dusan Lajovic yesterday despite a minor physical niggle, building on recent upsets like his Rotterdam QF beatdown of Daniil Medvedev and Wimbledon third-round triumph over Jiri Lehecka. Guerrieri, also left-handed like his foe, punched his ticket via qualies with a gritty 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 reversal of Federico Bondioli and owns a 1-0 head-to-head from their 2022 Challenger encounter, but his lower ranking and heavier legs from three qualifying matches temper upset potential amid home Italian support.
