In the ATP Challenger Yokkaichi semifinals on hard courts, Japanese wild card Rio Noguchi (#245) faces Britain's Harry Wendelken (#250) in a matchup with no prior head-to-head. Noguchi, riding a 13-4 hard-court record in 2026 including a Nonthaburi Challenger title, dominated Liam Broady 6-1 6-3 in the quarters yesterday, leveraging home-crowd support and sharp serving in familiar Asian conditions. Wendelken, with a strong 20-7 overall mark and 8-2 on hard, advanced via a gritty 6-3 6-4 win over Yuya Shimizu, building on multiple deep runs this season including a title. Both arrive fresh off straight-set victories, but Noguchi's surface comfort and venue momentum give traders key edges to weigh in this evenly matched battle.
