Pete Crow-Armstrong leads NL offensive metrics with a .281 average, 30 home runs, 78 RBIs, 31 stolen bases, and .929 OPS through mid-August, fueling his front-runner status in the 2026 Hank Aaron Award market. Shohei Ohtani stays close behind at .295/.392/.556 with 29 homers and elite on-base skills, sustaining his recent award pedigree amid Dodgers lineup support. Kyle Schwarber and Fernando Tatis Jr. trail with power production that keeps them in contention, while the spread among Bryce Harper, Ronald Acuña Jr., and others reflects a crowded group of high-OPS contributors without a dominant separation in plate appearances or advanced metrics. This competitive balance stems from several qualified NL hitters posting comparable rate and counting stats in a season defined by strong individual campaigns rather than one clear standout.
