The Milwaukee Brewers host the Washington Nationals in the second game of their weekend series at American Family Field, following Washington's 7-3 comeback victory in Friday's opener where James Wood collected four hits. Probable starters are left-handers Foster Griffin (1-0, 2.70 ERA in two starts) for the Nationals and Kyle Harrison (1-0, 2.61 ERA over 10.1 innings) for the Brewers, setting up a low-scoring pitching duel early in the season. Milwaukee enters at 8-5 overall with home-field advantage and a rested bullpen, but lacks outfielder Jackson Chourio (10-day IL, hand injury) and recently dealt with Brice Turang's brief ankle issue. The Nationals (5-8) carry momentum despite a thin rotation depth from long-term absences like Josiah Gray (60-day IL, elbow). Trader consensus prices reflect the Brewers' stronger start and venue edge, tempered by Washington's fresh win and matchup parity.
