Czech municipal elections on October 9–10, 2026, will select Pardubice’s next mayor through a proportional system where the largest party or coalition typically leads negotiations for the position. Incumbent Jan Nadrchal heads the ANO list after replacing Martin Charvát in 2022, while Jakub Rychtecký leads a broad Žijeme Pardubice alliance that includes former partners. Daniel Vondra heads the STAN ticket, Martin Slezák fronts the Progresivní Pardubice coalition, and other lists feature Petr Netolický, Leoš Janda, and additional independents or smaller parties. Candidate registration closed in early August, leaving limited time for late shifts. Traders price the contest tightly because support remains fragmented across multiple viable lists, with outcomes likely hinging on turnout among key voter blocs and the subsequent coalition arithmetic needed to secure a majority in the city assembly.
