Hugo Calderano holds a perfect 5-0 head-to-head record over Alexis Lebrun, including straight-set wins in recent WTT Champions events like Incheon and China Smash, fueling trader consensus in this WTT World Cup Macau quarterfinal. The Brazilian world No. 3 advanced yesterday with a grueling 4-3 comeback victory over Japan's Shunsuke Togami (11-6, 8-11, 4-11, 11-4, 10-12, 11-4, 11-9), showcasing resilience in a last-game decider. Lebrun, ranked No. 14 and younger brother of Felix—who recently upset Calderano—enters after qualifier runs but faces his nemesis amid high-stakes best-of-seven format pressure, with no reported injuries or withdrawals altering the matchup.
