The 2026–27 Croatian HNL season opened in late July with a 10-team field showing early parity after the first five matchdays, as Osijek and Varaždin sit atop the table on 12 points while Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split trail closely. This balance extends to the broader group of sides—Rijeka, Osijek, Varaždin, Lokomotiva, Slaven Belupo, Gorica, Hajduk, Istra 1961, and even promoted Rudeš—whose comparable squad depths, recent form streaks, and head-to-head records have produced tight mid-table clusters in prior campaigns. Over a full 36-match schedule, factors such as home/away splits, rotation demands, and minor roster adjustments tend to even out rather than create separation, leaving traders to price the third-place outcome as a wide-open contest where any of several clubs could realistically finish in that spot depending on consistency and key results.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Croatian HNL as finishing in third place. If multiple teams are officially awarded third place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 3rd in the 2026-27 Croatian HNL season, the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Croatian HNL season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 3rd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from Croatian HNL. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
