The extensive 32-team EWC CS2 2026 main event, spanning group stage double-elimination brackets from August 12-16 followed by single-elimination playoffs through August 23, generated dozens of maps and hundreds of rounds across official competition. Knife kills, while rare in professional CS2 due to reliance on rifles, utilities, and positioning, still accumulate through occasional clutches, eco-round plays, or close-quarters situations, with historical S-tier events typically producing low but consistent melee totals. Trader consensus at 100% for 10+ reflects this volume-driven expectation. Outcomes below that range would require an unusually abbreviated schedule or near-total absence of melee engagements, both inconsistent with the completed format and observed pro patterns.

A knife kill is any kill credited in-game to a player using the knife (melee) against an opponent. Kills made with any other weapon, including the Zeus x27 taser, do not count. Every knife kill in every completed official map of the event counts individually toward the total.
Only maps played in the 32-team main event count, including both the group stage and the playoffs. Maps played in the Open Qualifiers, the Last Chance Qualifier, or any showmatch do not count.
The market resolves to the single range containing the final total number of knife kills at the conclusion of the event.
If the Counter-Strike 2 tournament at EWC 2026 is cancelled, or is not completed such that its results are not determined by September 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other."
The resolution source for this market will be official information from HLTV (https://www.hltv.org); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
