Diae El Jardi holds a clear experience and ranking edge as the Moroccan competitor in her home country on the clay courts of the ITF W15 Casablanca. The 25-year-old, ranked around 1018 on the WTA and with prior ITF success, brings more match toughness than 18-year-old Italian Carolina Dibenedetto, who sits near 1166 in the ITF standings and holds a modest 3-4 record this season. Dibenedetto advanced to this round with a straight-sets win over Yasmine Douyeb earlier in the event, but faces a significant step up in opponent quality. No notable injuries or withdrawals have been reported for either player, leaving surface familiarity, home support, and overall professional mileage as the primary factors shaping the matchup.
