Victoria Pohle enters this ITF W15 Oliva first-round match on clay as the clear favorite, holding a WTA ranking near 1003 with a career-high of 919 and more consistent results on the professional circuit. The 18-year-old German has shown mixed but competitive form recently across lower-tier events, while 17-year-old Spaniard Adriana Monlleo Ramos sits much lower in the rankings around 2624 and brings limited senior experience, primarily from junior and qualifying matches. As a home-country player, Monlleo Ramos could benefit from local support and clay familiarity, though Pohle’s higher ranking and greater match volume create a significant experience edge in this early-round encounter. The outcome hinges on whether Pohle maintains consistency or if Monlleo Ramos capitalizes on any early nerves in her pro-level debut against a ranked opponent.
