Elina Nepliy enters the ITF W15 Casablanca first-round match as the higher-ranked player at world number 540 compared to Laetitia Sarrazin's 1086, giving her a clear edge in experience at this level. Nepliy has shown solid recent form with straight-set victories in May ITF events on similar surfaces, while Sarrazin’s results remain limited with sparse activity this season. The encounter on outdoor courts in Morocco favors the Russian’s consistency and ranking pedigree, though both players operate in the lower tiers of professional tennis where upsets occur frequently due to variable form and limited head-to-head history.
