Carson Tanguilig enters this ITF W50 Pelham clay-court match in the round of 16 holding a slight ranking edge at approximately No. 642 on the WTA and No. 390 on the ITF, with stronger recent singles activity including a straight-sets win in the prior round. Savannah Broadus, ranked around No. 783, brings solid college experience from Pepperdine and doubles success but fewer recent professional singles results. The pair has no prior head-to-head meetings, making recent form, clay-court adaptation, and physical freshness from the short turnaround the primary variables. Tanguilig’s higher activity level and ranking position shape the current trader consensus, while any late injury updates or serving consistency on the slower surface could shift momentum in either direction.
