Both South Korean players face off on outdoor hard courts at the M15 Gimcheon, an ITF Futures-level event where home-soil familiarity and recent match play often influence outcomes. Uisung Park, ranked around No. 806 on the ATP list with prior experience in similar Asian circuits, brings steady baseline consistency and a longer professional resume. Hoyoung Roh, a former top-10 junior now ranked near No. 873, enters with strong recent momentum after advancing deep in the preceding M15 Andong, including straight-set wins that highlight improved serving and court coverage. The match pits Roh’s rising trajectory and quick adaptation to hard-court rallies against Park’s veteran poise, with early-round scheduling and minimal travel factors keeping both sides relatively fresh.
