Louis Wessels and John Sperle, both German players, meet in the first round of the M15 Rosbach on clay. Wessels holds the edge with a 2-0 head-to-head record on the surface, including straight-sets wins in prior ITF events. Currently ranked around 655 with a career high of 267, he enters after a loss in M25 Troisdorf but posted wins in May clay events like M15 Klagenfurt. Sperle, ranked near 780, arrives off a defeat in the same Troisdorf draw. The low-level ITF context favors consistent baseline play and experience on European clay, with no reported injuries or withdrawals altering the field.
