Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick’s recent comments have anchored trader sentiment, with the executive signaling a $70–$80 range for the standard edition of Grand Theft Auto VI and emphasizing value-based pricing “way way way less” than the experience delivered. This aligns with prevailing AAA console pricing trends and dismisses outlier retailer listings near €99 as non-official. Release timing on November 18–19, 2026, further supports expectations that Rockstar will stick to familiar tiers rather than risk backlash on a $100-plus base price. While premium or collector’s editions could exceed that threshold with bonuses, the core game’s market-implied odds reflect broad conviction that historical precedent and executive guidance will hold, barring an unexpected late pivot to recoup development costs.
