Rockstar Games and parent Take-Two Interactive have anchored GTA 6 pricing expectations around established AAA norms, with the standard edition confirmed at $79.99 ahead of its November 19, 2026 console launch. This aligns with recent statements from Take-Two leadership emphasizing value delivery at the $70–$80 range and revenue modeling that favors broad accessibility over a higher entry point. Precedent from GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, combined with polling data showing strong uptake of the $99.99 Ultimate Edition for extras, has reinforced trader consensus that the base game will stay well below the $100 threshold. While last-minute adjustments or reinterpretation of edition tiers remain theoretically possible, the public price reveal and industry pushback against premium hikes make an upset highly improbable.
