Royal Challengers Bengaluru's commanding position stems from a dominant IPL 2026 campaign, finishing atop the league table with 18 points and superior net run rate after 14 matches under captain Rajat Patidar. Consistent results, powered by Virat Kohli's standout batting and a balanced squad, carried them through the playoffs with a decisive Qualifier 1 win over Gujarat Titans. As defending champions entering the final, trader consensus reflects RCB's superior recent form, head-to-head edge, and momentum heading into the title decider. Only a dramatic collapse or exceptional opposition surge in the final could realistically shift the outcome.
