Trader sentiment in advancement markets shifted dramatically in final games, highlighted by Montreal's 2-1 Game 7 victory over Tampa Bay Lightning after Tampa forced it with a 1-0 OT win in Game 6, and Philadelphia's 1-0 OT shutout in Game 6 to eliminate Pittsburgh Penguins. Upsets like Anaheim's 4-2 series win over injury-plagued Edmonton Oilers—where Connor McDavid played through a foot/ankle fracture—and Minnesota's 4-2 edge over Dallas Stars underscored goaltending edges and depth resilience, aligning with closing implied probabilities favoring resilient home teams in do-or-die scenarios.
