Gen.G endured a difficult VCT Pacific Stage 1, finishing near the bottom with limited wins and poor map differentials. Head-to-head results favor T1 in recent 2026 encounters, including multiple victories in Kickoff events, though earlier meetings showed Gen.G capable of map wins on certain pools. Map picks such as Breeze and Fracture have featured in prior clashes, with both squads relying on established Korean rosters and consistent lineups. Qualification implications heighten the stakes for the loser in this elimination match.
