GIANTX previously edged PCIFIC 2-1 in January's EMEA Kickoff on Abyss, Bind, and Split, mirroring potential map pool overlaps in the current controller-dominant meta favoring smokes and post-plant executes. No recent roster changes, bans, or patch updates alter dynamics, but PCIFIC's Turkish firepower poses upset risk in a must-win for both to climb standings and chase playoff spots.
