This market will resolve to “Yes” if the listed group officially releases a new song between market creation and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM PT (Los Angeles time). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Officially released means that a newly released song is officially available for download or streaming (not including live events) by the resolution date. Songs released by individual members, subgroups, or any other configuration not under the listed group name will not qualify. If a song is released jointly by multiple groups credited equally as primary artists, the song will count for all of them. Re-releases, deluxe editions, compilations, or remixes will not count. The resolution source will be any official streaming or download site, e.g. Apple Music or Spotify.Trader sentiment in the KPop groups' 2026 song release market reflects the industry's explosive comeback calendar, with 2026 dubbed the "year of legends" as BTS dropped their blockbuster album ARIRANG on March 20—topping first-week sales charts—and BLACKPINK unleashed mini-album Deadline in late February, fueling massive streaming surges. April's lineup remains packed, per recent agency roadmaps from HYBE, YG, and JYP, including IVE, ATEEZ, and rising acts like KISS OF LIFE, amid ongoing Q2 announcements like IU's summer-fall full album. For undecided groups like aespa, SEVENTEEN, and Stray Kids, watch label teasers and historical patterns—most majors release 1-2 times yearly—while military discharges and contract renewals pose minimal barriers post-BTS reunion. Momentum favors Yes outcomes for top acts, but unannounced rookies carry higher uncertainty ahead of mid-year showcases.
