**William Foxen and Shaun Deeb sit atop the 2026 WSOP Player of the Year leaderboard with razor-thin margins—Foxen at 28% implied probability and Deeb at 27.7%—reflecting a race defined by consistent deep runs and high-stakes results across WSOP Europe, Las Vegas, and the pending Paradise festival.** Only a player’s top 15 point-earning finishes count, rewarding volume in bracelet events while amplifying swings from final tables in high-buy-in mixed and high-roller tournaments. Recent bracelet wins and runner-up finishes by Foxen, Deeb, Naoya Kihara, and others like Eelis Pärssinen have repeatedly shuffled the top spots by mere dozens of points. The December Paradise schedule remains the decisive swing factor, as additional cashes or titles there can still reorder the standings among these tightly bunched contenders.
