The Austrian Bundesliga's 2026-27 runner-up market remains tightly bunched because defending champions LASK, a resurgent Red Bull Salzburg under new management, and established challengers like Sturm Graz and Rapid Wien all enter pre-season with comparable squad depth and recent form. LASK's 2025-26 title broke Salzburg's long dominance, opening the field while Salzburg rebuilds after extended title drought and focuses on European commitments. Early schedule balance, home/away splits, and limited injury concerns across the league further support parity, with traders viewing multiple clubs as realistic threats to finish immediately behind the eventual champion.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Austrian Bundesliga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Austrian Bundesliga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Austrian Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
