The 2026-27 Croatian HNL runner-up market reflects a wide-open contest among mid-table sides, with implied probabilities clustered tightly between 43.5% and 50%. Dinamo Zagreb’s expected dominance for the title leaves second place contested by Hajduk Split, Osijek, Varaždin, Lokomotiva Zagreb, and others who finished within striking distance last season. Early 2026-27 results show Osijek, Varaždin, and Lokomotiva collecting maximum points from opening fixtures, underscoring squad depth and momentum shifts. Historical patterns of inconsistent European qualification campaigns and mid-season roster changes further compress the field, as traders price in the potential for any of several clubs to secure the runner-up spot depending on form, injuries, and head-to-head outcomes across the long campaign.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Croatian HNL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Croatian HNL (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Croatian HNL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
