Arsenal and Manchester City head the 2026-27 Premier League runner-up market at 43% and 41.5% respectively because both clubs enter the campaign as the clear frontrunners after Arsenal claimed the 2025-26 title and City finished second. Preseason form, major summer reinforcements including Bruno Guimarães at Arsenal, and squad depth position the pair well ahead of Liverpool and the chasing pack. The tight spread between the leaders reflects traders viewing the outcome as a near coin-flip between the two sides finishing first or second, while mid-table contenders sit at single-digit probabilities due to greater uncertainty over consistency across a 38-game schedule.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Premier League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Premier League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
