Mercedes holds a commanding constructors’ championship lead through consistent double-points finishes and strong power unit performance, reflected in the market’s overwhelming 89.5% implied probability. Early-season dominance, including multiple race wins by Kimi Antonelli and George Russell, built an insurmountable points cushion despite mid-season development constraints under the cost cap. Ferrari and McLaren have narrowed the on-track gap with targeted upgrades and recent victories, yet their combined deficit remains substantial heading into the final races. Scenarios that could still shift outcomes include sustained reliability problems for Mercedes or an accelerated late-season upgrade battle that allows rivals to maximize remaining points hauls before the season concludes.
