Samuel Vincent Ruggeri enters the ITF M15 Kursumlijska Banja clay-court match as the clear favorite due to his higher career-high ATP ranking of 252 and recent appearances in Challenger events, compared to Boris Butulija’s career-high of 744 and ongoing participation in lower-tier M15/M25 tournaments. Ruggeri defeated Butulija convincingly 6-1, 6-1 in their only prior meeting on hard courts in late 2023. Butulija, a 27-year-old Serbian, has shown inconsistent recent form with mixed results in Serbian ITF events, while the 24-year-old Italian has demonstrated stronger overall results this season. The surface favors baseline play, but Ruggeri’s greater professional experience and ranking edge shape the current trader consensus reflected in market pricing. No confirmed injuries or late withdrawals have altered the field.
