Luis Arraez tops trader consensus for the MLB batting average leader at season's end, reflecting his established contact-oriented approach and three prior batting titles that support sustained production even as early leaders like Brandon Marsh and Otto Lopez post slightly higher marks around .335. Arraez, now with the Giants, sits near .324 through early June while maintaining elite strikeout rates and line-drive consistency typical of his profile. Yandy Díaz and Jung Hoo Lee follow closely in current standings, with Alvarez and Witt Jr. among longer-shot options favored for power-speed combinations that could sustain averages over the remaining schedule. The full-season horizon favors proven high-contact hitters amid inevitable regression risks for hot starts.
