The Toronto Blue Jays hold a clearer edge entering their three-game series at Fenway Park, sitting at 33-36 and third in the AL East while the Red Sox languish at 27-39, last in the division and mired in a four-game losing streak. Boston’s recent road struggles and thinner rotation depth contrast with Toronto’s stronger overall roster health, including the imminent returns of starters Dylan Cease and Max Scherzer plus catcher Alejandro Kirk, which could stabilize the lineup and pitching staff. Home-field advantage at Fenway offers the Red Sox some counterbalance, particularly if their bullpen can limit damage in close contests, but the Blue Jays’ superior run differential and recent divisional positioning give traders reason to price them as the more consistent side across the upcoming matchups.
