Persistent inflation pressures, reflected in recent CPI prints and surging Treasury yields above 5%, have tempered valuations even as S&P 500 earnings growth remains robust, led by AI-driven tech capex and projected full-year EPS expansion near 25%. Oil prices above $100 per barrel add cost-side headwinds.
