This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed TV show is ranked in the Top 5 of Google’s official Year in Search Global "TV Shows" list for 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." The specified list is expected to be displayed on the Google Trends Year in Search hub, with location selected to Global. The navigation procedure as of market creation involves going to trends.withgoogle.com/year-in-search/ and clicking through Global → Trending → TV Shows. The 2026 page is expected to appear using the same navigation once released (as the 2025 page currently shows the specified ranking). This market will resolve based on the specified list regardless of navigation procedure. This market may resolve as soon as the specified list for 2026 is released. If Google does not release the specified list by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No." The resolution source for this market will be the specified list as published by Google. His & Hers leads early trader sentiment for the top-searched TV show on Google in 2026, fueled by its January premiere as Netflix’s biggest title of the year, with over 104 million views in the first half and sustained Google Trends spikes into September. The Jon Bernthal-Tessa Thompson limited series outpaced competitors like Bridgerton and Stranger Things Season 5 in engagement metrics, creating a durable search tailwind. Fall premieres of returning hits such as The Gentlemen Season 2, The Paper Season 2, and new entries like Crew Girl or The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 5 could shift momentum if they generate comparable viral moments or platform cross-promotion. Traders monitor Netflix’s “What We Watched” reports and real-time Google Trends for breakout signals, as year-end resolution hinges on cumulative cultural impact rather than single-week peaks.
