Elena Rybakina, the 2022 Wimbledon champion and current world No. 2, faces Lois Boisson in the first round on grass, where the Kazakh's powerful serve and experience on the surface give her a clear edge against the French player ranked around No. 154-155. Boisson reached the 2025 French Open semifinals but holds a 1-6 record in 2026 with limited grass-court pedigree, including a recent first-round loss at 's-Hertogenbosch. Rybakina enters with mixed recent results on grass, including a loss to Katie Boulter at Queen's and a hip-related withdrawal from Bad Homburg, yet her historical dominance at Wimbledon and overall ranking position shape trader consensus around a strong favorite. No prior head-to-head exists, and the matchup occurs on a surface that typically amplifies the higher-ranked player's advantages in serve and movement.
