Alexander Zverev captured the 2026 US Open men’s singles title by defeating Ben Shelton in the September 13 final, 6-3, 7-6(2), 5-7, 6-2, securing his second major of the season after the French Open. As the top seed, the German reached his third consecutive Grand Slam final with consistent form across the draw, overcoming early five-set matches before dominating later rounds on hard courts. Trader consensus at near-certainty levels reflects this confirmed outcome and Zverev’s head-to-head edge plus experience against the first-time finalist. Scenarios that could still shift resolution remain limited to any official disputes or administrative issues, though none have surfaced in the days since the championship match concluded.
