Recent polling for Berlin's September 20 Abgeordnetenhaus election shows Linke and CDU clustered near the top at 20-23 percent, with AfD and Grüne immediately behind in the 16-18 percent range. This narrow distribution among four parties leaves third place highly contested, as modest differences in turnout or preference flows between left-leaning blocs could reorder the middle ranking. AfD's consistent third-place positioning in surveys reflects its stable support base, while Grüne face pressure from potential vote splitting on the left. SPD trails further back and exerts limited influence on the outcome. With one week until voting, final-week mobilization in key districts and any late shifts in undecided voters remain the primary variables that could separate the contenders for third.
